Among the venues offered by CenArte, this one remains relatively untouched by renovators and retains a particularly large number of its traditional Andalusian motifs: pots of bougainvillea, geraniums, jasmine… Together with the courtyard, stables and old chapel this venue constitutes a beautiful and highly authentic southern Spanish environment in which to hold an event. This hacienda is located 14 kilometres south of Seville, in the marshes of the Guadalquivir valley, and far from any modern constructions. CenArte therefore suggest this venue to clients seeking a perfect example of unspoiled Andalusia.
Like many of our haciendas, this one was constructed in the 16th Century. It was operated by the religious orders of the period until its confiscation in the 19th Century, when it passed in to the hands of a wealthy Sevillian family.
This location is ideal for holding an Andalusian themed gala dinner event. The variety of hidden corners, hallways, and patios, also allows for an event with multiple stages, wherein upon the guests’ arrival they are granted full freedom to explore the property. Along the way they might find performers singing arias from windows, workshops where gypsies prepare bouquets and wreaths of jasmine, or girls dressed in the mantilla mingling amongst the crowd. After this introductory phase and once guests have had a chance to discover the estate, we could move on to an informal dinner, buffet-style in the former stables, with a choice of layout and table service.
